Abstract
Hypertelorbitism defines an interorbital distance which is wider than normal. Interorbital distance is measured by several authors at each other different points. We used Dr. Tessiers method(1974) which pointed out between the anterior lacrimal crest. Hypertelorbitism is classified into 3 types by the degree of the distance. This classification is important in selecting the surgical approaches. We operated on 3 cases of hypertelorbitism by different surgical methods, which had interobital distance 34 mm, 38 mm, 28 mm measured by Tessiers methods. The first and second cases were corrected by intracranial and extracranial approaches.

Postoperative interorbital distance were measured to 18mm, 20mm in order.

The third case which corrected through subcranial U-shape osteotomy with paramedian resection was measured 18mm at interorbital distance postoperatively. We obtained very successful results in all cases. Authors report 3 cases of hypertelorbitisim with review of literatures.
